Some thoughts on the dollar slide

Dollar is sliding again.
Can we pin this on the Democrats vicotry in mid-terms? After all, the US stock market was riding at historic highs before they won. Now that the Dems are in and their full anti-trade agends is becoming visible, they are causing a lot of doubt about American performance.
And if this downward streak continues, the Dems push in their minimum wage laws, stall free trade and the economy slows down, maybe the GOP can argue that the Dems are dangerous to the economy, even when elected to the Congress.
And this should add to the problems of Airbus and kill its jumbo jet, which is already on respirator.
Some good things may come out of the dollar slide, after all!
