It ain't that bad

I am sure you must have all been bombarded by this press nugget by AP, "U.S. death toll in Iraq reaches 3000." AP described it as a grim milestone. Just a few days ago another "grim milestone" was reached. American deaths in Iraq had surpassed the death toll of 9/11 attacks.
Just to refresh. 2,403 Americans died in Pearl Harbour. And the number of Americans who died in the war precipiated by that attack? 407,300 military deaths and 11,200 civilian deaths.
Stop whining. You can complain when U.S. reaches that grim milestone.
