Iraq descends into civil war, yet again

Ever so often Iraq seems to descend into civil war, if you go by the regular media. I wonder since it has been going into civil war so many times, has it yet or hasnt it? You can't descend into civil war only to descend into civil war again after three months.
After the massive bombings in Sadr city, the media reported that there were ghastly reprisal killings. Eight Sunni men were burned to death or so it was reported. The media didn't even blink an eyelid and picked up the drumbeat of Iraq descending into civil war yet again.
Except that like so much of the news coming from Iraq, this was made up from bogus sources.
So many instances of media abuse have been documented. When will somebody take action? When will the it come to their sense that they are playing with lives here?
