Ann Coulter calls John Edwards "a faggot"--PART 2
March 4th 2007 00:08
Orble is crap sometimes. I have been trying to modify my Ann Coulter's post and it won't let me do it. Anyway the comments that made me crack up are the comments by HRC chairman:
“To interject this word into American political discourse is a vile and disgusting way to sink the debate to a new, all-time low,” said Human Rights Campaign President Joe Solmonese. “Make no doubt about it, these remarks go directly against what our Founding Fathers intended and have no place on the schoolyard, much less our country’s political arena.”
“It is clear that some in the Republican Party plan to run in 2008 the same way they did in 2004, by using discrimination to divide the country and rally their base,” said Solmonese. “But, 2008 is not 2004, and this time the politics of fear and smear will not work. The American people are tired of those who would rather divide than unite
Good god, did the consitution prevent somebody using faggot? I thought they did actually provide for that.
Anyway this part of my post was cut out yesterday and followed by Howard Dean's comments. As if he could be ever funny.
Still, the Coultermania refuses to die down. Yesterday it was just on memeorandum.com where all the blogs were responding to her. Now it's picked up by MSM. Just look at google news. That too on the same day when Newsbusters if reporting that Bill Maher has expressed disappointment that DIck Cheney survived the bombings and nobody is even noticing it, let alone responding it.
As I have said, this only means that it is conservatives who are in the train right now and liberals who are definitely on backfoot. A lot of their faux-indignation comes from the fact that their monopoly on mainstream is being challenged.
